The Cosmetic Clinic Checklist: 7 Things Every Greater Noida Patient Should Ask

Before you book a Botox, filler or laser appointment in Greater Noida, here are the 7 questions that separate a safe, ethical cosmetic clinic from one you should walk out of.

Cosmetic dermatology has become mainstream in Greater Noida — and that is a good thing. Botox, fillers, lasers and skin boosters are now part of regular self-care for a lot of people. The bad news? The barrier to entry for opening a cosmetic clinic in Greater Noida is shockingly low. Salons offer “injectable glow drips”. Beauty parlours run “laser packages”. And not all of them have a qualified doctor on the premises. Here are the 7 questions you should ask before you let anyone touch your face.

1. Is the procedure done by a qualified dermatologist?

In India, injectables and lasers should be administered by a doctor — ideally a dermatologist (MD/DDV). Ask for the doctor’s qualification and registration number. A real clinic will show you the certificate without hesitation.

2. Which brand and batch of product will be used?

For Botox and fillers, ask for the brand name (Allergan, Galderma, Merz, etc.) and ask to see the sealed vial before injection. Counterfeit toxins and fillers are a real problem in unregulated clinics.

3. What laser device is being used?

“Laser” is a generic term. A diode laser for hair removal, a Q-switch Nd:YAG for pigmentation, and a fractional CO2 for resurfacing are completely different machines with completely different price points. Ask for the brand and model.

4. What is the realistic outcome — and the realistic risk?

Every procedure has side effects. Bruising with fillers, temporary redness with lasers, asymmetry with Botox if injected wrong. An ethical cosmetic clinic explains both sides. If a clinic only sells you the upside, that is a warning.

5. What is the after-care plan?

Cosmetic results depend on what happens after the procedure. Will you get a written aftercare sheet? A follow-up appointment? A direct number to call if something feels off? If the answer is “WhatsApp our reception”, that is not enough.

6. What is the total cost — with no surprises?

Get the full price upfront, in writing. Including consultation fees, product cost, follow-up charges and any “top-up” sessions. “Starting from” prices are a sales tactic.

7. Can I see real before-and-after photos from this doctor?

Not stock photos. Not pictures from the brand brochure. Photos of patients treated by the same doctor who will treat you.
